Job Title: Retail Store Team Lead
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Team Lead to join our team at Best Canadian Dollar Store. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our sales floor and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are adequately trained to perform their tasks.
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure that they meet our high standards.
- Establish work schedules that meet the needs of our customers and our business.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help us make informed business decisions.
- Resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain our inventory to ensure that our customers have access to the products they need.
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our sales floor staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
