BDO Canada is seeking a highly skilled Manager to join our Assurance team in Red Deer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading audit and review engagements for public and private clients, ensuring compliance with professional standards and Firm policies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan, supervise, and execute assurance and non-assurance engagements to deliver high-quality results.
  2. Develop business opportunities with existing clients and address client issues in a timely manner.
  3. Apply industry knowledge to anticipate, identify, and address issues relevant to the client's business.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business objectives and contribute to a positive work environment.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to maintain expertise and provide value-added services to clients.
Requirements
  1. Professional designation (CA, CMA, CGA, or CPA) and 1+ years of management experience in an accounting and/or assurance role.
  2. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize workloads and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  4. Experience with IFRS and ASPE files, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
