About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled EHR Integration Architect to join our team at Meditech. As a key member of our implementation team, you will be responsible for evaluating workflows and integration points across end users and care settings, and proposing integrated implementation builds and training that support our customers' goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate workflows and integration points across end users and care settings
  • Propose integrated implementation builds and training that support customer goals
  • Optimize customer builds by identifying key areas and functions that cross multiple end users
  • Determine a single build that supports all use cases
  • Minimize post-LIVE changes and rebuild of dictionaries and workflow
  • Develop integrated workflows, dictionary builds, and best practices for customers
  • Conduct assessments to identify key workflows that support customer goals and minimize barriers to successful implementation
  • Collaborate with in-house knowledge experts to help customers define organizational priorities, goals, and objectives
  • Set the overall direction for our integrated products and how they are implemented
  • Conduct training and build key dictionaries to support integrated workflows
  • Discuss concepts with sites, identify high-level decision areas, and the impact of each decision on build and workflows across all venues
  • Define and write integrated, HCIS-wide architectural workflow and builds
  • Conduct assessments, site visits, and customer evaluations throughout the implementation process
  • Act as a resource for functionality and system use for Client Services and Product Development
  • Maintain a strong understanding of how third-party software integrates with our HCIS
  • Troubleshoot, research, and assist in solving software problems
  • Work collaboratively with the Development team to identify, prioritize, and help define innovative solutions to workflow challenges
  • Help the Implementation team interpret and understand users' feedback and provide input for workflow design decisions based on that feedback
  • Attend stakeholder meetings, design reviews, and demonstrations to ensure our development needs are represented and to keep current with the latest changes in functionality
  • Represent the team on escalated customer calls or participate in priority event discussions related to existing or future functionality
  • Lead MEDITECH-sponsored activities and internal and external discussions related to product needs and potential functionality
  • Travel 25% of the time, anywhere within the United States and Canada
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or associate degree preferred and/or 2-3 years applicable work or military experience
  • Meditech and/or Healthcare or Healthcare adjacent experience
  • Strong understanding of hospital workflows within clinical, financial, or administrative departments
  • Strong communication skills
  • Well-organized and thorough documentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
