Job Summary

The EHR Integration Architect is a key role in our organization, responsible for evaluating workflows and integration points across end users and care settings. This position requires a strong understanding of hospital workflows within clinical, financial, or administrative departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate workflows and integration points across end users and care settings
  • Propose an integrated implementation build and training that supports customers' goals
  • Optimize customer builds by identifying key areas and functions that cross multiple end users
  • Develop integrated workflows, dictionary builds, and best practices for customers
  • Conduct assessments to identify key workflows that support customer goals and minimize barriers to a successful implementation
  • Collaborate with in-house knowledge experts to help customers define organizational priorities, goals, and objectives
  • Set the overall direction for our integrated products and how they are implemented
  • Conduct training for and build key dictionaries to support integrated workflows
  • Discuss concepts with sites, identifying high-level decision areas and the impact of each decision on build and workflows across all venues
  • Define and write integrated, HCIS-wide architectural workflow and builds
  • Conduct assessments, site visits, and customer evaluations throughout the implementation process
  • Act as a resource for functionality and system use for Client Services and Product Development
  • Maintain a strong understanding of how third-party software integrates with our HCIS
  • Troubleshoot, research, and assist in solving software problems
  • Work collaboratively with the Development team to identify, prioritize, and help define innovative solutions to workflow challenges
  • Help the Implementation team interpret and understand users' feedback and provide input for workflow design decisions based on that feedback
  • Attend stakeholder meetings, design reviews, and demonstrations to ensure our development needs are represented and to keep current with the latest changes in functionality
  • Represent the team on escalated customer calls or participate in priority event discussions related to existing or future functionality
  • Lead MEDITECH-sponsored activities and internal and external discussions related to product needs and potential functionality
  • Travel 25% of the time, anywhere within the United States and Canada
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or associate degree preferred and/or 2-3 years applicable work or military experience
  • MEDITECH and/or Healthcare or Healthcare adjacent experience
  • Strong understanding of hospital workflows within clinical, financial, or administrative departments
  • Strong communication skills
  • Well-organized and thorough documentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

You may be required to show proof of vaccination when traveling to a customer site unless you have an approved medical or religious exemption.

This is a hybrid role that includes a blend of in-office and remote work as designated by the management team.
