About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Commercial Insurance Advisor to join our team at Westland Insurance Group Ltd. in Markham, ON.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a career-minded individual to grow their insurance industry knowledge and experience while promoting and educating clients on insurance products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote and educate clients on insurance products
  • Take ownership of client relationships and help grow our presence and profile in the local community
  • Uncover clients' business challenges and act as a client advocate identifying their needs and providing recommendations
  • Assist clients with their insurance needs by utilizing basic knowledge of underwriting principles
Requirements
  • Laser-focused, with a track record of achieving sales targets
  • Building authentic client relationships comes naturally
  • Master time manager, with the ability to prioritize workload and demonstrate confidentiality and discretion
  • Insurance broker license (RIBO) or working towards CAIB/CIP (financial support provided)
  • 10+ years of commercial lines insurance experience
