Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Maintenance Technician to join our team at Strescon Limited. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing electrical and mechanical maintenance on all facility equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems
  • Assist with troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with equipment and systems
  • Work with outside maintenance companies to ensure timely and effective maintenance
  • Conduct regular equipment inspections to detect and diagnose potential issues
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and report to management
  • Contribute to plant upgrades and improvements
Requirements
  • Strong electrical and mechanical experience
  • 3-7 years' experience in a heavy industrial environment
  • Valid provincial certification as an Industrial or Construction Electrician
  • Past experience in the maintenance of overhead cranes
  • Journeyman Industrial Mechanic/Millwright or equivalent experience
  • Welding tickets
Working Conditions
  • Ability to work at heights
  • Ability to handle physically demanding work
  • Must have reliable transportation to work

Hourly wage for this position starts between $23-$25 per hour.
