Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Maintenance Technician to join our team at Strescon Limited. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing electrical and mechanical maintenance on all facility equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems, including troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.
  • Assist with the maintenance of overhead cranes and other heavy industrial equipment.
  • Conduct regular equipment inspections to detect and diagnose potential issues.
  • Report detailed records of work performed to management.
  • Collaborate with outside maintenance companies as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong electrical and mechanical experience, with a focus on heavy industrial environments.
  • 3-7 years of experience in a maintenance role, with a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Valid provincial certification as an Industrial or Construction Electrician would be an asset.
  • Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Hourly Wage

The hourly wage for this position starts between $23-$25 per hour.
