Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents and their families
  • Assist with daily tasks and activities, such as meal service, housekeeping, and transportation
  • Support the delivery of diverse services and special events
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory
  • Experience working in an environment in the healthcare or hospitality industry is considered an asset
  • Empathy for and understanding of the needs of older adults and/or disabled individuals
  • Ability to plan, organize, and support the delivery of diverse services and special events
  • Successful completion of a CPR/First Aid certification (if applicable)
  • Successful completion of Safe Food Handler's certification (if applicable)
  • Successful completion of Smart Serve/ProServe certification (Ontario/Alberta, for management roles)
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow
