True Mechanical: A Leader in Plumbing Solutions

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Surveyor to join our team at True Mechanical, a leading mechanical contractor in Western Canada. As a Mechanical Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in designing and installing cutting-edge commercial, institutional, and residential plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate plumbing layouts and installations for various projects
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure seamless project execution
  • Supervise and mentor apprentices and junior staff members
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, trades, and sub-trades
  • Travel within the lower mainland to various project sites
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of experience in surveying or total station layout
  • Certification in surveying, piping, fitting, or structural trades is an asset
  • Strong understanding of drawings and specifications for Mechanical, Architectural, and Structural disciplines
  • Ability to manage logistics, materials, and pre-fab for layout and deck work
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements
