True Mechanical: A Leader in Mechanical Contracting

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Surveyor to join our team at True Mechanical, a leading mechanical contractor in Western Canada. As a Mechanical Surveyor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful completion of our projects.

About the Role

This is a full-time position within the lower mainland, offering a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. As a Mechanical Surveyor, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing project areas, including surveying and total station layout
  • Coordinating with other disciplines to ensure project success
  • Managing and mentoring apprentices
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues, trades, and sub-trades
  • Traveling within the lower mainland as required
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2-5 years of surveying or total station layout experience pertinent to construction
  • Certification in surveying, piping, fitting, or structural trades (an advantage)
  • An understanding of drawings and specifications for Mechanical, Architectural, Structural
  • Ability to manage, mentor, and supervise apprentices
  • Flexibility to travel within the lower mainland
