Job Summary

This is a key leadership role at Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences, responsible for advancing a culture of continuous quality improvement and ensuring compliance with Accreditation Canada standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
  • Lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of Accreditation continuous readiness
  • Provide guidance on quality improvement workplans and coordinate with managers to develop and implement QI initiatives
  • Monitor quality improvement activities and identify areas for improvement
  • Lead training and coaching on continuous improvement tools and methodologies
Requirements
  • Formal training in improvement methodologies (LEAN, Six Sigma, IHI Model for Improvement, Project Management)
  • Expertise in Quality Improvement Tools (PDSA, Process Mapping/Flow Diagrams, Cause and Effect Diagrams, Pareto Charts, Creativity Methods, Affinity Diagrams, Force Field Analysis, Tree Diagram, Run Charts, Shewhart Charts)
  • Knowledge of Accreditation Canada Standards, Required Organizational Practices, and Accreditation Canada processes
  • Experience leading teams in preparation for Accreditation Canada surveys
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
