About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bakery Team Member to join our team at Kabab & Thali Restaurant. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Production Scheduling: Draw up production schedules to ensure efficient and timely production of baked goods.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all baked goods meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
