Job Title:

Radiation Oncologist - Gastrointestinal Malignancies

Job Summary:

Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre is seeking a full-time Radiation Oncologist to join our team in the Department of Radiation Oncology. The successful candidate will have expertise in treating gastrointestinal malignancies and will be responsible for developing an active radiation oncology practice in this area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and conduct an active academic research program in radiation oncology, with a focus on gastrointestinal malignancies
  • Participate in peripheral clinics and contribute to the teaching programs of the Department
  • Build and contribute to a research program in adaptive radiotherapy for GI cancers using MR-Linac technology and CT-based linac technology
  • Participate in the development and implementation of clinical trials and research studies in radiation oncology
Requirements:
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the Province of Ontario
  • Academic appointment in the Department of Radiation Oncology, University of Toronto
  • Eligibility for appointment at the Sunnybrook Research Institute in either the Physical Sciences, Biological Sciences, or Evaluative Clinical Sciences platforms as a clinician investigator
