Job Title: Head Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at Passage to India Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our dishes are of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning: Develop and implement new menu ideas, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Chef Management: Supervise and train a team of chefs, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Food Quality: Maintain the highest standards of food quality, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to a high standard.
  • Inventory Management: Manage kitchen inventory, ensuring that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that the kitchen is a safe and healthy environment for all staff and customers.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and a passion for delivering high-quality food.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a hot and busy kitchen.
