About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Doc's Restaurant & Pub Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Menu Development: Assist in the development of new menu items and specials, working closely with our chef and culinary team to ensure that all dishes are innovative and appealing to our customers.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in the management of kitchen inventory, ensuring that all ingredients and supplies are ordered and stored in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our culinary team to ensure that all kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently, providing support and assistance as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma is required for this role, but a passion for food and cooking is essential.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the kitchen, but we welcome applicants who are fluent in other languages.
