Pharmacist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients
  • Ensure adequate inventory levels to meet patient needs and counsel patients on new and additional medications
  • Create awareness and educate customers through public relations and community outreach
  • Provide timely and positive resolution to patient needs and doctor requests/issues
  • Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy
  • Provide ongoing training for new and existing pharmacy colleagues
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacist license
  • Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism
  • Excellent leadership and performance management skills
  • Proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience formulating and executing action plans
  • Strong personal computing skills and knowledge of Healthwatch and/or KROLL Pharmacy Computer system
