Job Description:

This nursing position involves providing care in accordance with established policy, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care. The ideal candidate will utilize sound nursing practice principles to deliver excellent nursing and personal care. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.

Requirements:
  • Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Able to work with persons with infectious diseases.
  • BLS Certificate.
  • Valid First Aid & CPR.
  • Proof of current immunizations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella (MMRV), as well as Hepatitis B.
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied shift times, including 8-12 hours in length.
Estimated Salary Range:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
