About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Home Child Care Provider to join our team at Marydith Garcia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to children in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Asset Languages: Proficiency in Tagalog is an asset.
  • Work Setting: This role will involve working in the employer's home, providing care and support to children in a home-based setting.
  • Tasks: The successful candidate will be responsible for:
    • Assuming full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents.
    • Performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
    • Shopping for food and household supplies.
    • Traveling with family on trips and assisting with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
    • Washing, ironing, and pressing clothing and household linens.
    • Caring for pets.
    • Bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children.
    • Disciplining children according to the methods requested by the parents.
    • Instructing children in personal hygiene and social development.
    • Keeping records of daily activities and health information regarding children.
    • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home.
    • Preparing and serving nutritious meals.
    • Supervising and caring for children.
    • Taking children to and from school and to appointments.
