Hadassah Regional Development Director Job Description
**Role Summary**
The Regional Development Director is responsible for driving fundraising and membership growth within assigned regions in partnership with Managing Director, Associate Managing Director, Resource Chair, and volunteer leaders. This role requires a strong understanding of Hadassah's national priorities and the ability to develop and implement programs that achieve fundraising and non-fundraising goals.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Work with the Resource Team to identify opportunities for the Region to support National priorities and develop Region Annual Plans
* Develop and implement programs, activities, training, and services to achieve fundraising and non-fundraising goals
* Support Hadassah volunteers in reaching goals for regions/chapters through grassroots fundraising training
* Serve as a catalyst for new group development, reinvigorating struggling units, and identifying underserved communities and specific demographics with a focus on young women
* Support region and chapter leaders to identify successors, facilitate leadership development and training, strengthen board involvement
* Consult with Region President and Chapter leaders to help resolve conflicts and address opportunities through regular meetings
* Help communicate information from National departments and divisions to the Region and Chapter
* Work with Region President to coordinate member outreach and engagement by building visibility and credibility of Hadassah through collaborating or building coalitions with other local organizations
* Help Region President identify opportunities to represent Hadassah in the community through speaking engagements, op-eds, community outreach with partner organizations
**Requirements**
* Strong understanding of Hadassah's national priorities and fundraising strategies
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Ability to develop and implement programs that achieve fundraising and non-fundraising goals
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work effectively with volunteer leaders and staff
