Store Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to join our team at BEST WESTERN PLUS. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operation of our retail store, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Management: Manage and supervise a team of retail staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating their performance.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that products are displayed attractively.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Financial Management: Manage the store's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
- Security and Safety: Ensure that the store is secure and safe for customers and staff, implementing measures to prevent theft and other security risks.
- Compliance: Ensure that the store complies with all relevant laws and regulations, including health and safety, employment, and tax laws.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and attention to detail.
The Store Manager will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with regular hours of 30 hours per week. The role requires standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads.
