Job Title: Hematopathology Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Hematopathology Specialist to join our team at Alberta Precision Laboratories Ltd. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for diagnosing diseases and physiological disorders through the examination of blood and bone marrow samples.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct microscopic and chemical analyses of laboratory samples and specimens
- Prepare research papers for publication and presentation
- Supervise laboratory activities and train junior staff members
- Act as a consultant to other physicians and order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures

Requirements:

- Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry
- Specialty residency training in hematological pathology
- Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC) and Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and MCCQE II)
