About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Hematopathologist to join our team at Alberta Precision Laboratories Ltd. As a Hematopathologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of hematological disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and interpret hematological disorders through microscopic and chemical analyses of laboratory samples and specimens.
  • Conduct medical research on human disorders, illnesses, preventive or curative methods.
  • Supervise laboratory activities and train resident pathologists and morgue attendants.
  • Act as consultants to other physicians and order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures.

Requirements:

  • License to practice medicine in Canada.
  • Specialty residency training in Hematopathology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
