Salary and BenefitsThe salary range for this position is CAD $29.83/Hr., offering a competitive compensation package that includes comprehensive health benefits and municipal pension plan. Job DescriptionAs a Care Aide at Vancouver Coastal Health, you will play a vital role in providing personal care and support to clients. Your duties will include assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing, as well as performing nursing care duties as applicable. You will work under the functional direction of a Registered Nurse or other designate and in cooperation with an interdisciplinary team to deliver client care.
Required Skills and Qualifications- You must have a Grade 10 (including English 10) and successful graduation from a recognized Health Care Assistant Program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- You must be eligible for registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry.
- You must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively and proficiently both verbally and in writing, deal with others effectively and respectfully, and possess physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
