Produce Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Produce Clerk to join our team at Country Produce (Orillia) Ltd. As a key member of our supermarket team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Restock shelves and display areas with fresh produce and other products
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety standards
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous retail or customer service experience an asset
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
