Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Produce Department Assistant to join our team at Country Produce (Orillia) Ltd. As a key member of our produce department, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their purchases and answering questions about our products.
  • Unpack and stock produce shipments, ensuring accurate counting and weighing of items.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the produce department and surrounding areas.
  • Perform general cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a retail or produce environment an asset.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliability and punctuality essential.
