Prairie Mountain Health is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our Environmental Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the training and/or orientation of Environmental Services staff and students, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide exceptional service.
  • Take ownership of following departmental procedures to ensure consistency and quality of service is maintained throughout the Environmental Services Departments.
  • Clean assigned areas in accordance with current established cleaning schedules and infection control guidelines, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and schedules.
  • Conduct daily tours of areas of responsibility prior to end of shift, inspecting each area for cleanliness and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure all equipment is clean and operating efficiently, performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Perform duties of washing, mopping, waxing, vacuuming, polishing, and dusting using appropriate equipment and products, adhering to established standards and protocols.
  • Clean and maintain housekeeping carts, restocking supplies as needed to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Restock supplies in all areas, as assigned and required, to maintain a well-stocked and organized environment.
  • Assist with inventory procedures, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of supplies and equipment.
  • Participate in department quality control audits and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Perform sundry duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and needs.
