At DPC Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P., we're committed to excellence and quality in everything we do. As a Plant Manager, you'll play a key role in driving our success by leading our Mount Pearl, NL Fluid Milk Processing Plant to new heights.

Key Responsibilities

As a dynamic leader, you'll oversee plant operations, including production, maintenance, and quality control. You'll work closely with our safety, environmental affairs, continuous improvement, human resources, strategic business development, quality, and finance teams to ensure compliance with programs and support initiatives.

What You'll Achieve

  • Communicate key performance indicators and drive quality, efficiency, and cost improvements;
  • Provide direction to the plant leadership team and foster a positive, productive team environment;
  • Lead continuous improvement activities, reduce equipment downtime and change overs, and optimize capacity planning;
  • Ensure our quality and sanitation standards are met through close liaison with Quality Services and participation in HACCP and BRC programs;
  • Collaborate with the Plant Accountant to ensure accurate financial reporting and inventory management;
  • Work with Planning and Warehousing to optimize plant performance and resolve issues collaboratively;
  • Assist with resolving significant maintenance problems and provide direction to the Maintenance team.

Requirements

We're looking for a seasoned operational manager with 3-5 years of experience in a related field. You'll need exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as a strong focus on safety, quality, and food safety. Solid financial acumen and analytical skills are also essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs. Team orientation, a family-driven approach, and the ability to engage people are also key.
