We are a dynamic and forward-thinking insurance brokerage firm seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional administrative support services.

As an Administrative Support Specialist at Fivestar Insurance Brokers Ltd., you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our office. Your primary responsibility will be to provide administrative support to our staff, focusing on tasks that require a high level of organization, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in an administrative role and possess excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills. You will be comfortable with technology and proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Open and distribute mail, packages, and other materials
    • Schedule appointments and confirm meeting times
    • Answer phone calls and relay messages to staff members
    • Respond to electronic inquiries and direct them to the relevant personnel
    • Compile data, statistics, and other information as required
    • Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels
    • Set up and maintain manual and computerized filing systems
    • Perform data entry duties accurately and efficiently
  • Communication and Liaison
    • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders
    • Communicate effectively with staff members, providing timely and accurate information
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
What We Offer:
  • Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience
