Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

Vente au détail Bestseller Canada Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Store Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high level of sales performance. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are adequately trained and equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they meet the company's standards.
  • Authorize the return of merchandise and resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of workers, including sales staff and support staff.
  • Conduct performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and provide feedback to staff.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in retail management, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Fluency in French, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
