Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

Vente au détail Bestseller Canada Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth. This is a key leadership role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Authorize the return of merchandise and ensure that all returns are processed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Sell merchandise and promote products to customers to drive sales growth.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that stock levels are optimal and that products are easily accessible to customers.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and provide feedback to employees.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in a retail environment, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, customers, and vendors.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
