About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Architectural Draftsperson to join our team at GAGE METAL CLADDING LIMITED. As a key member of our drafting team, you will be responsible for creating detailed engineering designs and drawings, working closely with clients, engineers, and production specialists to ensure product requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and detailed engineering designs and drawings
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure conformity
  • Train new drafting personnel and develop design sketches
  • Complete documentation packages and drawing sets
  • Consult with clients and engineers to establish product requirements
  • Lead and instruct groups to achieve project goals
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drafting and design
  • Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD and Autodesk REVIT
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
