About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Barburrito. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparers and counter attendants.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain accurate records of stock and inventory.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, and prepare budget and cost estimates.
  • Customer Service and Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
    • Maintain records of sales, wastage, and other key performance indicators.
  • Human Resources
    • Hire and train new staff members, and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction and quality service.
