About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager/Real Estate Director to join our growing Real Estate Tax practice in Los Angeles. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with great clients.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Manage client relationships and assist clients in meeting their tax and financial planning objectives using a range of tools, including wealth transfer and estate planning.
  2. Research and draft technical tax memoranda on various tax issues for clients.
  3. Review and sign a variety of tax returns and serve as a subject matter expert when appropriate.
  4. Create opportunities for staff development, mentoring, and overseeing client engagement teams.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience serving in a tax role with a public accounting firm.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • An active CPA certification.
  • For the Tax Director position, a JD or EA may be accepted in lieu of a CPA certification.
  • For the Tax Manager position, a JD may be accepted in lieu of a CPA certification.
Compensation

Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. We pay competitive wages and view compensation as an investment in our people. The estimated salary range for this role is $103,000 - $185,000 based on factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge.
