Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Services Agent to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and room change/late check-out requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Secure payment and activate/reissue room keys as needed.
  • Verify and adjust billing for guests to ensure accuracy and fairness.
  • Communicate with other staff members to ensure guests' needs are met and their stay is enjoyable.
  • Operate the telephone switchboard station and respond to guest calls, requests, and questions in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Run and check daily reports, contingency lists, and credit card authorization reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Supply guests with directions and information about our hotel and local attractions.
  • Count and secure bank at the beginning and end of shift to ensure accuracy and security.
  • Cash guests' checks, process all payment types, vouchers, paid-outs, charges, and provide change as needed.
  • Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any reports of theft or suspicious activity.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No related work experience required, but previous customer service experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time and lift objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
