Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP HR/Payroll Solution Architect to join our team at 2i Solutions, Inc. in Toronto. This is a hybrid role that requires 2-3 days of on-site work per week.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience in SAP Payroll, HR, Organizational Management, Personnel Administration, Time Management with Canadian Payroll experience. They will also have a minimum of 5+ years of experience developing HR/Payroll solution architecture for end-to-end business solutions with SuccessFactors, BusinessSuite on HANA and S/4HANA using Dell Boomi integration.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and documenting the solution architecture of the HR, Payroll and integrated business processes for the SAP and non-SAP end-to-end business processes, including exception handling. They will also lead and document the solution process design, including client business rules, processes, security roles, master/transactional data, error/exception handling.

The candidate will work closely with the client's project payroll and IT team to align the solution architecture with the client's Enterprise Architecture ITS standard and practices. They will also lead and document the analysis with the business HR and Payroll team for process improvements and define areas for improvement and the benefits of these improvements.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and documentation skills, with the ability to create solution architecture, solution design to-be documents and other typical project implementation artifacts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and document the solution architecture of the HR, Payroll and integrated business processes for the SAP and non-SAP end-to-end business processes, including exception handling.
  • Lead and document the solution process design, including client business rules, processes, security roles, master/transactional data, error/exception handling.
  • Lead and document the data migration from legacy systems to SAP, including data extract, transform, load, cleanse and reconciliation.
  • Align the solution architecture with the client's Enterprise Architecture ITS standard and practices.
  • Lead and document the analysis with the business HR and Payroll team for process improvements and define areas for improvement and the benefits of these improvements.
  • Lead and document the SAP Payroll, S/4HANA, SuccessFactors architecture, including non-SAP systems.
  • Lead and document the SAP functionality (HR and Payroll) based on expert knowledge of HR and Payroll best practices and industry trends.
  • Participate in the deployment of the new business processes within the HR and Payroll areas.
  • Provide input to all aspects of project planning.
  • Provide guidance and support to key business stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance to the change management plan.
  • Review and provide recommendations to cutover strategies, plans and deployments.
  • Review and provide recommendations to testing strategies, plans and deployments.
  • Review and provide recommendations to training strategies, plans and deployments.
  • Knowledge transfer to the TTC HR, Payroll and IT teams.
