Job Title: Substance Use Clinician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Substance Use Clinician to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our Mental Health and Substance Use Services team, you will provide comprehensive care to individuals and families affected by substance use and mental health disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide initial screening, intake, and assessment of clients to determine their needs and develop treatment plans.
  • Deliver individual and group therapy, as well as case management and support services to clients and their families.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Develop and implement recovery-oriented treatment plans, including referrals to community resources and services.
  • Provide education and support to clients and families on mental health and substance use issues, as well as relapse prevention strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Counselling Psychology or Social Work.
  • Two years of recent experience working with clients and families affected by substance use and mental health disorders.
  • Eligibility for registration with a relevant professional association.
  • Valid B.C. Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for work-related purposes.
