Job Title: Substance Use Clinician

We are seeking a highly skilled Substance Use Clinician to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our Mental Health and Substance Use Services team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals and families affected by substance use disorders and mental illness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive assessments and treatment plans for clients with substance use disorders and mental health issues.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide coordinated care and support services.
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families on substance use and mental health issues.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of services and improve client outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field such as Counselling Psychology or Social Work.
  • Two years of experience working with clients and families affected by substance use disorders and mental illness.
  • Eligibility for registration with a relevant professional association.
  • Valid BC driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for work-related purposes.
