About the RoleAs an Emergency Department RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a supportive and therapeutic environment. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to assess, treat, and provide care for patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
Responsibilities- Assess and prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced emergency setting
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patient needs
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Current Certificate of Registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Minimum of one-year recent experience in Acute Care Nursing
- Current RN Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Completion of Coronary Care I and II or equivalent
- Current ACLS Certification
- Completion of Physical Assessment course
- Excellent customer service demeanor
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
