Job Opportunity

Collingwood General and Marine Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate RN to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, treat, and provide care for patients in the emergency department
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide supportive, therapeutic, palliative, and rehabilitative care
  • Adhere to the standards mandated by the College of Nurses of Ontario

Requirements

  • Current Certificate of Registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Minimum of one-year recent experience in Acute Care Nursing
  • Current RN Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Completion of Coronary Care I and II or equivalent
  • Current ACLS Certification
  • Completion of Physical Assessment course
  • Excellent customer service demeanour
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the English language
