**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled Disaster Restoration Project Director to lead our team in delivering exceptional restoration services.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multi-person teams and overseeing the successful completion of various restoration projects caused by fire, smoke, wind, water, mold, asbestos, etc.

You will work closely with property owners, adjusters, insurance companies, and/or property management companies to ensure that projects are completed in a timely manner, on budget, and to the highest quality standards while bringing client property back to its pre-disaster condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead multi-person teams and oversee the successful completion of restoration projects.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct site inspections to assess property damage and manage emergency and remediation/repair processes following IICRC and Ontario Building Code Standards.
  • Estimating: Prepare emergency service and restoration estimates with assistance from Estimators and/or Shared Services when possible.
  • Project Budgeting: Establish and maintain project budgets using PSA, with help from Project Manager Assistants.
  • Client Communication: Maintain consistent communication with home and business owners, insurance adjusters, property managers, policy holders, tenants, sub-contractors, etc. on all aspects of emergency and restoration projects.
  • Team Management: Manage Project Manager Assistants, Team Leads, staff members, and sub-contractors in successfully completing projects in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Issue Resolution: Assist in resolving change requests, unforeseen additional work, and other issues. Ensure proper documentation of all changes to the original estimate is secured, specifically written and signed change orders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive work experience in Project Management or Supervisory role, preferably within the restoration industry.
  • Valid Certification through IICRC for: Water Remediation Technician, Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician, Odor Control Technician, Mold Remediation, etc.
  • Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Proficient in Xactimate, Xactanalysis, and Symbility estimating software skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as required.
  • Strong knowledge of the Canadian Restoration Industry.

Remuneration: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, plus Gross Margin Bonus, vehicle, and health benefits.
