Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to join our team at Little Burgundy. As an Inventory Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed store and personal standards of performance by maintaining accurate inventory levels, receiving, and stocking merchandise.
- Implement and maintain company initiatives, such as inventory management systems, to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing products, including shipping and receiving documents.
- Ensure the proper handling of all store inventories, merchandise, received or transferred, and maintain a neat and organized merchandise area.
- Communicate and troubleshoot any inventory discrepancies with the Store Manager and District Sales Manager.
- Communicate stock replenishment needs to the Distribution and Buying and Merchandising departments.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager and Co-Manager.
Requirements
- Prior retail management experience is preferred, but not required.
- 1-2 years of retail sales experience is required.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and willingness to learn are necessary.
- Bilingualism is required for Quebec locations.
- Ability to work night and weekend shifts, climb, reach, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods of time is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
