Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to join our team at Little Burgundy. As an Inventory Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed store and personal standards of performance by maintaining accurate inventory levels, receiving, and stocking merchandise.
  • Implement and maintain company initiatives, such as inventory management systems, to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing products, including shipping and receiving documents.
  • Ensure the proper handling of all store inventories, merchandise, received or transferred, and maintain a neat and organized merchandise area.
  • Communicate and troubleshoot any inventory discrepancies with the Store Manager and District Sales Manager.
  • Communicate stock replenishment needs to the Distribution and Buying and Merchandising departments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager and Co-Manager.

Requirements

  • Prior retail management experience is preferred, but not required.
  • 1-2 years of retail sales experience is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and willingness to learn are necessary.
  • Bilingualism is required for Quebec locations.
  • Ability to work night and weekend shifts, climb, reach, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods of time is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
