Role and Responsibilities

  • Lead technical teams in rolling stock studies, procurement, and maintenance projects, ensuring timely delivery and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Manage rolling stock maintenance facilities and equipment acquisition projects, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee assigned rolling stock projects, ensuring project profitability targets are met and customer expectations are surpassed.
  • Develop technical and financial proposals for rolling stock projects, showcasing our expertise and value proposition.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering. Membership in the OEQ is an asset.

Years of Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the heavy rail industry.

Technical Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Autocad.
  • Proven expertise in rolling stock or locomotives.
  • Fluency in French and functional English to collaborate with stakeholders in Ontario.

Personal & Soft Skills:

  • Strong team player with aptitudes for multidisciplinary project collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently, sometimes under pressure, to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent writing skills for clear technical reports and proposals.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for short-term assignments.
  • Leadership skills to grow the business.
