About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Plains Motel (Brooks) Ltd. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning operations of our hotel and resort, ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Cleaning Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inspect and Maintain Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our facilities to identify areas for improvement and implement measures to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Prepare Budgets and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning supplies and services.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for cleaning staff to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of resources.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the cleaning industry
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Security and Safety: Must undergo a criminal record check
