**Job Overview**

We are seeking an experienced Academic Heart Failure Cardiologist to join our Division of Cardiology at the University of Toronto. As a Clinician Teacher, Clinician Investigator, or Clinician-in-Quality and Innovation at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our esteemed faculty and make a meaningful impact in the field of cardiology.

**Key Responsibilities**

As an Academic Heart Failure Cardiologist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional clinical care to patients with heart failure and other complex cardiac conditions
  • Liaising with primary care providers and supervising trainees in clinical settings
  • Engaging in formal teaching and scholarly activities to advance medical knowledge and education
  • Contributing to quality improvement initiatives and research projects

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A strong educational background in medicine, including an MD degree
  • Certification in Cardiology/Internal Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
  • Licensure to practice from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
  • Experience in heart failure and cardiac intensive care, with a proven track record of clinical excellence, teaching, and research
