Pre-Competitive Swim Instructor
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pre-Competitive Swim Instructor to join our team at the Lawson Aquatic Centre and University of Regina locations. As a Pre-Competitive Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality swim instruction to students, providing feedback, and ensuring safety in the pool area.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach our lesson plans to students of all ages and skill levels
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills
- Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment in the pool area
- Work collaboratively with other instructors and staff to achieve team goals
Requirements
- I Can Swim or Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor, Swim for Life Instructor, or Lifesaving Instructor Certification
- Previous experience in swim instruction or coaching
- Knowledge of swim teaching techniques and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well with students of all ages and skill levels
