Retail Store Manager

We're seeking a talented Retail Store Manager to join our team at Winners, a leading Canadian retailer of brand-name clothing, shoes, and home furnishings.
About the Role
As a Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team to achieve sales results, control expenses, and reduce shrink and damage. You will be accountable for recruitment, training, and Associate development, as well as ensuring the execution of TJX Canada programs and policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive store profit improvement through effective merchandising, presentation, and inventory management.
- Lead a team of Associates to deliver exceptional customer service and sales results.
- Develop and implement action plans to achieve business objectives and improve store performance.
- Conduct regular store walkthroughs and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with District Manager and Business Development teams to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of management experience in retail, including operations, customer service, merchandising, and people management.
- Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions quickly and prioritize activities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach and develop Associates.
