About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Stowel Lake Farm. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the planning, preparation, and presentation of our menu items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items.
  • Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and execute special events and catering services.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 13.5 kg.
