About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Disaster Recovery expert to join our Global Technology Services Management and Support Team. As a key member of this team, you will contribute to the delivery and provide advice, assistance, and support to other unit teams.

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years' experience in Disaster Recovery, encompassing all aspects of data center infrastructure, including core infrastructure, network, storage, etc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a practical and effective Disaster Recovery program that ensures critical services, systems, networks, and information assets are available whenever business clients need them.
  • Partner with IT and Project Management colleagues/vendors to ensure required technical assets are resilient and systems are built with DR requirements embedded.
  • Work with incident management and other BC/DR professionals across the company in delivering and gathering timely information and providing guidance while managing the response to planned or unplanned events.
  • Develop, schedule, and conduct DR exercises in accordance with segment goals and global standards.
  • Develop and maintain recovery plans in an enterprise BCM planning system, following global standards and sharing processes with peers within the organization.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of VMware Cloud technologies and recovery alternatives.
  • Experience using Fusion Risk Management tool, Archer, and ServiceNow is an asset.
  • Financial Services industry experience preferred.
  • Professional certification in BCM (ABCP, CBCP, MBCI, or MBCP) is a plus but not a requirement.
  • Good communication and organization skills.
  • Ability to build relationships, engage, and influence others.
  • Achievement-oriented with project management skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
