Cost Analyst Job Description

Are you passionate about analyzing financial data and improving operational efficiency? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? We're seeking a skilled Cost Analyst to join our team at Plan Group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project management teams to establish and maintain accurate budgetary control systems
  • Prepare and analyze cost reports, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of financial data and trends, providing insights to inform business decisions
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure seamless financial operations and minimize disruptions
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in cost accounting or analysis within a large organization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
