Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Cost Analyst to join our team at Ambient Mechanical Ltd. as a key member of our project delivery team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
  2. Develop pre-qualification submissions to present to clients
  3. Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  4. Estimate general expenses and overheads for projects
  5. Conduct economic feasibility studies and provide preliminary estimates for proposed projects
  6. Prepare and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms
  7. Monitor and adjust contract expenditures
  8. Maintain a directory of supplies and trade contractors
  9. Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates
Requirements

Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of experience in construction cost estimation. They will be proficient in estimating packages, spreadsheets, AutoCAD, MS Project, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

Work Details

This is a permanent position with a 38-hour workweek and a focus on mechanical construction projects.
